Buy a Gift Feed the Hungry

The kind folks at Hickory Farms provided me with one Party Planner Gift Box to review and they are giving away one to one of my great readers!

Hickory Farms is a great company.  I’ve come to rely on them for easy and delicious gifts for the people in my life who are hard to buy for at holiday time.  Their gift boxes are sure hits with everyone.  I can always find a just right gift on their website and they provide free shipping, on select items, to military addresses!  It has become part of our family tradition to send treats to fill the bellies of our friends and loved ones to show them we are thinking of them when we can’t be with them at this time of year.

The Party Planner Gift Box is a great choice to send ahead to someone you plan to visit.  They can put the snacks out for you and anyone else who visits.

The contents of the box are:

-Signature Beef Summer Sausage 7 oz.
-Spicy & Savory Recipe Beef Summer Sausage 5 oz.
-Turkey Summer Sausage 5 oz.
-Smoked Gouda 6 oz.
-Farmhouse Cheddar 4 oz.
-Smoked Cheddar Blend 4 oz.
-Creamy Swiss Blend 4 oz.
-Classical Mixed Nuts 6 oz.
-Cranberry & Sesame Nut Mix 4 oz.
-Cranberry Mustard 2.5 oz.
-Sweet Hot Mustard 2.25 oz.

I know my family will enjoy the sausages when we visit Horatio’s parents.  I don’t eat meat, so I indulge in the delicious cheeses in the box.

Aside from the obvious greatness of the Party Planner box, the best part of it is that each time someone purchases it, Hickory Farms donates $5 to help hungry children in America!  They’re a leading non-profit agency working to end childhood hunger by 2015. It’s a cause worth throwing a party for.  Times are tough all over America and it’s great that an all American company like Hickory Farms is making the effort to help.  If you buy from Hickory Farms, I encourage you to purchase a gift box marked with the logo above.

You can buy the Party Planner Gift Box at Hickory Farms for $30.88 right now.

Our favorite tradition is to purchase an ornament each year that represents something meaningful that happened to our family. Sometimes, it is getting settled in a new home, a vacation memory, or recognizing that our family is apart for the holiday.
