Sweet Giveaway

I see the Halloween candy in the aisles of all of the stores right now, but the sweetest and most tempting candy in my house is from Sucré, A Sweet Boutique out of New Orleans, Louisiana.  I received Sucré’s New Orleans Chocolate Collection to review before I offer one as a giveaway.  The chocolates are beautiful, but equally as important, they are delicious.  I’d rather keep the second box than give it away, but that would be dishonest and in our house, there’s a strict policy of honor, so at the end of the post, you’ll see directions on how to enter to win.

Sucré doesn’t just do chocolates.  They also make magnificent looking macarons, delicious drinking chocolates and beautiful, handcrafted King Cakes.  You should order your traditional King Cake from them for the Mardi Gras season.

The Sucré King Cake combines a cherished tradition with modern culinary sensibilities. You won’t find anything comparable anywhere in the world.

Sucré crafts a handmade Danish dough with a sweet cream cheese filling. After it’s baked to perfection, it’s covered with a light sugar glaze and glitter. Their kings cake has a unique look that is still unmistakably Mardi Gras. The light buttery pastry, combined with the sweetness of the filling, cinnamon and sugar, creates a heavenly tasting experience.

Sucré also does beautiful holiday treats.  The hard to shop for part of my list just disappeared because I will be shopping at Sucré for them.  I might have to order some for my husband so I can get my hands on them!
