One of my favorite country singer’s, Tim McGraw, joined forces with both Operation Homefront and Outback Steakhouse, surprising military vets and their families during a recent lunch. McGraw hung out with military members and their families over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.  He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the military families for all they do for our country. 

McGraw explained his involvement, saying, “All the service they’ve put in, and the generations of service they put in? It’s such a great program and I am happy to be a part of it.”

“I want to be an American and I want to be free, and you make me proud to be an American and because of you, I am free,” McGraw said,  summing up his respect for servicemen and women. “So on behalf of my family, Outback and Operation Homefront, I want to say thank you and have a great day and have a great weekend. Now let’s eat.”  McGraw is a staunch supporter of America’s true heroes.
