My boys and I surfed the Fathead website, looking for one to decorate our rec room, and we chose the Death Star. Everyone was very excited when it arrived on Monday. I planned to put it up while the boys were at school the next day but when I read the directions on the website on Tuesday morning, I saw that a team of two is recommended for putting the REAL.BIG Fatheads up on the wall. So I waited for my “help” to get home from school.
The Real.Big Fathead measures 50 inches by 50 inches, so we measured our space, first, to be sure the graphic would fit in the spot we chose.

We took it to our chosen spot and followed the directions to slowly peal the graphic from its backing, applying gentle pressure and smoothing with the yellow smoothing tool (supplied with the large images) as we progressed.
The process took about 10 to 15 minutes. We took our time to smooth as we went along, assuring we’d have no air bubbles. When we realized we had some wrinkles, we just lifted the trouble spot from the wall and smoothed as we went, again.
