Holiday Mail for Heroes

The American Red Cross is encouraging Americans to send a “touch of home” to U.S. service members through Holiday Mail for Heroes.

Many people express to me that they’d like to be able to thank the men and women serving overseas, especially during the holidays and now it couldn’t be easier.

Plus, it’s free!

Americans can send messages of cheer and appreciation between now and Friday, December 9 and Red Cross and program sponsor Pitney Bowes will take care of all costs to send the cards. The specifics on sending cards can be found here.

The Red Cross provides support to members of the Armed Forces and their families throughout the year in many many ways.  This is just the latest in their efforts to help make the armed forces feel served themselves.

Send a letter, it will definitely brighten someones day.
