Always on our minds…

We are pretty used to Horatio being away from us, but that does not mean that we don’t miss him all the time, even when we don’t realize we are missing him.

I taught Bob how to ride his bike this week.  Nana and Papa asked for a picture of him riding his bike, so I took Bob outside to take the picture and decided to take video as well.  I aimed the camera and Bob took off.  He turned around and, though we were taking the picture, supposedly, for Nana and Papa, on Bob’s mind was Daddy.

I should have known.

I’m sorry Horatio could not be here for the bike riding moments, both for him and for Bob, but I’m glad we have the technology to share the moments over the internet.
