As most of you know, my eldest son, Zack, has high functioning Autism. My second oldest son, Dwight, wanted to help make other people more aware of what Autism is and what it’s like for people with it and for their families.
So, for a project related to his Bar Mitzvah, Dwight is working to spread Autism Awareness, which he knows is the key to understanding of the syndrome and the people affected by it. He is petitioning the White House to get them to Light Up Blue for World Autism Awareness Day in April.
Dwight wants to show his adoration of his brother and work to help others be more knowledgeable of the Autism Spectrum. He thinks that lighting the White House blue will be a very visible symbol, as it is pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.
He has written a letter to the President, as well, and I will publish it later. So, for now, please go to his petition and sign it and spread the word for the Autism Community.
Thank you from our family to yours.

I so admire and applaud Zack’s willingness to do something to build awareness for those with autism! I know you must be so proud of him:) My nephew has Asberger’s so this is an issue that is near to my heart as well. I’m spreading the word and sending good wishes that you get enough involvement to make this happen.
Im so glad that you guys are doing this. Best of luck. You have my signature.
Good Luck Dwight. We shared it on our page, so more people can know about your project!!
